Why did "Single Ladies" sell so much worldwide?
"Single Ladies" has sold nearly 7.8 to 8 million records worldwide. Even though it was not released as a single outside of the United States, nearly 3 million of that was sold outside of the US.
Many of ATRL believes it is "local" because it did not chart in the top 10 in many countries, yet it sold more than many #1 global songs such as Rihanna's "We Found Love" and "Umbrella," as well as Adele's "Someone Like You" and Katy Perry's "California Girls."

Single Ladies will remain iconic and no matter how many times ATRL calls Bey "local," it still doesn't stop the fact that it has outsold many of the other girls' singles.

#1 It didn't sell more than any of the songs you listed, stop lying.
#2 Since when 6.1 million WW is "so much" for a "impactful smash" as SL?
#3 It was an international single.

from HARİBO
"Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" had sold 3,200,000 in the US and 360,000 in the UK as of Nov 2009. So since IFPI tracks from Dec to Nov, we can say it has sold over 8,200,000 by now (doesn't include other countries).
6,100,000 + 1,800,000 (US) + 280,000 (UK) = 8,180,000
6.1 M from 2009.. After 2009 just 1.8 million has sold in the united states..
old but
USA: 4,877,000
UK: 641,000
Australia: 247,000
Mastertones/Ringtones: 1,000,000
Korea: 487,847
Canada: 170,000
New Zealand: 15,000
Spain: 40,000
Total: 7,477,847

It's catchy, and the dance routine helped a lot, too.
It's disappointing that Beyoncé's most basic song was so successful, yet a lot of her better singles were not.

I didn't lie about the sales.
Any time an album is released on itunes, EVERY album track is available to download.
She did not release "Single Ladies" to radio. She only released "If I Were A Boy" and then, "Halo."
Sorry.
