It was her own fault for posting the receipt online. The incident deserved a Tumblr vent at most, but you don't go about being a fool and posting pictures of customers receipts online.

Anyway I understand why she was fired though. The name of the customer was on the receipt, it is a violation of privacy to post that on Facebook.

She deserved to be fired because she didn't blank out the name on the receipt. If she had done blanked it out with, say, photoshop, I doubt it would have resulted in her being fired.

Wow. Just wow. I'm never eating at Apple Bees again. This is ****ed up on so many levels. Why can't she take a picture of the receipt? I work at Home Depot, and associates constantly take pictures of ridiculous customers. It's not a big deal.
