Gaga was probably quite a demanding person to assist and some of the stuff is petty, but amongst the like, you know, like and swearing she argues a pretty strong case (assuming what she says is true).
The crucial points are that the contract was $75,000 fixed salary with no paid overtime, and that Jen entered the job willingly a second time so clearly had a good understanding of the demands. You can't sue someone for unpaid overtime when you knew that wasn't ever the agreement, and knew fine well that you'd be working overtime from already having the job before.
Again, I'm under no illusion that Gaga is guilt-free here, but Jen sounds quite entitled and the lawsuit comes across as nothing more than a bitter attempt at a quick buck after being put in her place.
Okay, since ARTPOP is coming out this year (hope to god it does or i'll stop eating and breathing), I was trying to hype myself up for it since my hype's been dead recently. I stumbled upon this (again)...
Would you be here for ARTPOP if the lyrics and instrumentals were as simple as this?
