That was so funny. I felt bad for him because he was being nice, his questions were midjudged rather than totally rude. I didn't really understand why he brought up Lea again but her reaction was hilarious if slightly uncalled for.

Pretty sure she's been asked about the dieting hundreds of times and it's quite a boring and slightly sexist question. I'm not surprised that annoyed her and probably ruined the rest of the interview.

Why did they even release this interview without cutting out all the awkwardness tho?

It's not as bad as I expected. She got on with it and just moved along I guess.

Not that I agree with her refusal to discuss some things. And it's more her tone that annoys me. She seems so entitled. The question about poverty was just inquiring about how she relates to a life so vastly different from her own. I mean that's fair enough, no? The fact she won't discuss that just makes her look worse, like she won't acknowledge her own sheltered lifestyle.

Hmm, I actually didn't mind this interview that much, especially when you compare it to how she's been throughout the rest of the Oscar season. She was really, really annoying back in the 09 Oscar season, but I accepted that because it was her first time and she probably wasn't used to being taken seriously as an actress.

But this season, she's even worse. Totally fake and irritating, watching her interviews and speeches is just a painful experience. She totally deserves the Oscar but there's a small part of me that wants her to lose just so I don't have to watch her trainwreck of a speech come Oscar night.
