2007 Teen Choice Awards: Avril and Kelly will be performing!.
Hi People! the Teen Choice Awards are back and I have some information:
"Hannah Montana" fans will have a reason to tune in the Teen Choice 2007 awards on Aug. 26. Miley Cyrus, star of the Disney Channel comedy, will take part.
Hilary Duff and Nick Cannon will host the show, which will air from 8 to 10 p.m. live in the East. Other celebrities scheduled to appear include Ashlee Simpson, Dane Cook, Jared Padalecki, Jessica Alba, Lauren Conrad, Megan Fox, Taylor Kitsch, Emmy Rossum and Oscar-winner Anna Paquin.

Doesn't sound too great... last year's was pretty bad too, I think. Only memorable moment: Nick winning an award for a love song while Jessica was hosting.

i'm not into the teen choice awrds anymore. Teen Choice awards was so much better in the 1999/2000/2001 era now it sucks

2007 Teen Choice Awards: Avril and Kelly will be performing!.
OK, all you "American Idol" fans. Kelly Clarkson will sing "Never Again" at Teen Choice 2007, and you can decide if she's on the right career path.
Teen Choice 2007 will air from 8 to 10 p.m. Aug. 26 on Fox. Avril Lavigne will sing "Girlfriend" at the show, which Hilary Duff and Nick Cannon are hosting. Lavigne and Clarkson are nominees for this year's awards.
Other musicians taking part include the Jonas Brothers, Ashlee Simpson, Bow Wow, Omarion and Sum 41. Fox says more performers will be announced soon. But those scheduled to take part include:
Ryan Reynolds of "Just Friends," Zac Efron of "High School Musical," Jessica Alba of "Fantastic Four," America Ferrera of "Ugly Betty," Miley Cyrus of "Hannah Montana," Dane Cook of "Good Luck Chuck," Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson of "The Game Plan," Jared Padalecki of "Supernatural," Taylor Kitsch of "Friday Night Lights" and Lauren Conrad of "The Hills."

Cosigned. I'd much rather see them sing something current than their previous singles, even if most people would rather hear the upbeat stuff.
I don't expect much out of this show.

Both of their new singles are too slow and somber for such an event. I really don't see how you guys expect them to be performing "When Your Gone" and "Sober" at a Teen Choice Awards. It's not the Grammys but a show aimed at adrenaline filled teens.
But then again, most people here seem to think they are marketing gurus.

High School Musical 2“High School Musical 2” and the movie’s stars, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Monique Coleman, Lucas Grabeel, Olesya Rulin and Kaycee Stroh, will receive a special Teen Choice award for its record-breaking debut on "Teen Choice 2007" Sunday, Aug. 26 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.
In addition, 18-time Teen Choice winner Justin Timberlake will accept the “Ultimate Choice Award” for his film, television and music projects.
Teen Queen Hilary Duff and actor/comedian Nick Cannon are teaming up to host Teen Choice 2007. Fergie is set to perform “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” Kelly Clarkson will perform the emotionally charged single “Never Again,” Avril Lavigne will sing her No. 1 hit single, “Girlfriend" and Shop Boyz will close the show with “Party Like A Rockstar.”
