We all know Rihanna has been a pop juggernaut since her debut, with 12 number one singles, 5 grammys and back to back platinum albums its fair to say Rihanna is the most consistent pop girl in the game.

Then we have Bruno Mars, one of the few pop male acts making music. Relative new comer, but has already won a grammy, racked up 4 number ones and sold 6 million copies of his debut album in a climate where albums just don't sell anymore. Bruno also has 2 of the top 10 best sales week for a digital single.

So i'm wondering; are Bruno and Rihanna the new king and queen of pop?
