Yes. I listen to music on my phone and pc and it's nice to see last.fm records all of my plays, I mean, you're not just confined to a single music player to see all you're listening stats. And it's also nice to see what most people are listening to. I was actually surprised when I first joined last.fm when I found that rock music dominates all other genre. And I also happened to discover a lot of great music from great artists that I wouldn't have discovered if not for last.fm.
No.
Reasons:
1. I often switch songs before they end - that means I don't have many plays on my music players which mean I wouldn't be able to import all my plays properly.
2. I often listen to the music on my phone. And I don't use internet apps on my phone.
3. I have lots of illegal music that would get last.fm confused as **** with the incorrect titles and ****
4. I listen to music on youtube a lot.
5. Not obsessed with my own stats.
but that's the point, having the music on your computer. Last.FM just keeps track of what you're listening to. you don't use it to listen to music.
I've been using it for six and a half years now and I still love it, it's interesting to see a chart of my taste and how it has changed over the years. it also makes me realize how obsessed I am with certain artists
Does is count what you watch on youtube? I want to start using it, but I mostly listen to music in youtube.
Just started using it a few days ago.
I don't even know why I have one.
It's cool, I guess, but I don't really see the point.
I just made one 'cause I saw everyone else with it.
Thought I'd try it out and see what the deal is.
