What does this band need to do? Do we see a future for them? I love them to death but its become a one (wo)man show. Are people over them?

Ev. is in a very confusing state so far. Fans wars and such. I doubt that Amy would do solo as she's said before, she can do whatever music she wants with Ev. but who knows. And supposed Ev had been a heavily Amy Lee centered band even when Ben was still around. Even if she did quit Ev, she said she is more likely to lean towards doing Film scores and such.

I think option A, B, and D are possible outcomes. option C can be cross off, since she said she wants to take a couple of years off to spend time being a wife.

If they will released a 3rd album, a lot of the fans won't be supporting Ev anymore due to John and Rocky not being in the band, just like how many fans left Ev when Ben was gone.

But whatever happens, I wish them the best.

Amy solo? Hmm I doubt it would work. She has a great stage name, but she's not really marketable. Maybe she should furtado it and release a hip hop album.

It'll probably be D, although I think this band's biggest mistake is negative media publicity overtaking their single promotion. Granted, they screwed up releasing Good Enough; Weight Of The World is the best song on The Open Door, and would have fared better than Lithium and Sweet Sacrifice in the U.S. because it seems more likely to be embraced by radio.

But still, with all the changes in the band, they really should take a year off, get refocused, and come up with an album that combines the amazing sound on The Open Door with the inspiration of Fallen.

It could work!

I love Evanescence, but they didn't impress me on the Open Door, but it was good. If they could take a few years off to re-group and stay out of the bad publicity, then they could come back and hopefully come back with a great album like Fallen with a little Open Door with it. I liked Call Me When You're Sober and that was a great song and I think that it was a little more generated towards pop to try and expand the bands presence, but after Call Me When You're Sober was over, so was the album cuz there wasn't much more they could release to try and sell the album except Lithium and that's my opinion.

if amy lee goes solo she will probably flop
she doesn't have the appeal like hannah montanna to boost up sales
