It will be Top 5 this week, with Suit & Tie falling, there is nothing that would block it. So it won't be sitting at #6 for two weeks straight.

Why everyone keeps saying a #1 is not possible anymore? ..

.. I mean didn't Justin's song debuted at #4 with just 300K ?

Our girl did 411K in the first week with "Hold it against me" ... if her next single is good, catchy, fresh and the hype is extremely big she will open with great stellar numbers and could perfectly debut at #1.

however I prefer a #1 based on longevity just like "Scream and shout" , is not #1 yet, we don't know if its going to ever be #1 but the #1 is not out of the question either.

I can see Britney easily getting another #1 on Pop.

The Hot 100 may be tricky though. She'd need a big radio deal and have to sell like 500-550K. It's not impossible but meh...........

I'd personally rather have another explosive debut than a S&S climb because it will show Britney's true power as an artist.

The 2nd single can climb like S&S.

thats why im afraid s&s success is killing the hype for her new single ( i thinki , thats my opinion ) thats why i didnt want to be that successful

i believe thats nothing on the table ..maybe the new album will be released in 2014 ... id never thought that they were planning a 2013 release

Labels are saving the stronger single for 2nd anyways these days.

Nope! What happened is, Scream & Shout was added to power rotation in more cities. About two weeks ago, only one or two stations was spinning it 110+ times a week, now, that figure has gone up tremendously. Especially, in big markets like Houston and Chicago. You can see such stuff on allaccess.com (it's free). Only takes a while to learn how to navigate through the site.

Nah, this song has zero impact on Album 8 whether it flopped or continues to slay.
