Comparing tablets to notebooks is never fair. People pay $500 for an iPad or $400 for a Nexus 10, but you can get a laptop with a 500GB HDD, 4GB RAM, a quad core processor, and a decent integrated graphics card
for the same price. It's clear that people don't have an issue with the cost of an iPad, and like someone else said, the 128GB version will likely be bought mostly by companies using them for work. I can't see that anyone else would have a library big enough to fill it unless they had a lot of movies.
