One of my best friends is black and we go at each other all the time, but I would never make that kind of comment with someone I wasn't totally comfortable with, it's always very self-aware and we're both intentionally saying racist things because they're funny and they don't reflect the way we actually view people. Like, I'll be taking a picture of him at night and tell him I can't see him because he camouflages with the darkness, or he'll call me toothpaste
It should be noted he lives (I used to live there too) in a country where white people are a small minority and most people are mixed.
