"Posh" isn't really an accent, it's just how a relatively tiny amount of people are taught to speak. A neutral, well spoken, typically Southern English accent is what most will hear when they think of a "British accent" (assuming they aren't imagining Queen's English). Either that or a cockney Landana (Londoner).

Personally my fave English accent is the Caribbean one; love to hear Rihanna talk that talk!
