Let me clear this up simply.

1. I wasn't even trying to shade Britney in anyway, nor discredit her. I like her. People will remember her for her breakdown, whether you like it or not. Just like with Whitney Houston - will be remembered among the public for her drug addiction, and MJ for him danglin' a baby from a balcony/rape.

I don't know which post you're talking about, but I'll address each one:

If it was my first post in this thread: That was being real, not shady/discrediting her.

If it was the response to other artists 'stealing' from her: Britney is not that much of an innovative artist . She's done a few things in her career that were 'new', but so have MANY other people. You really think she's the first one to put a desert scene/splattered paint/cages/other mess in an MV? It's been done a long ass time ago.

2. Let's remember that my post had no content to fuel anyone's anger besides yours. Your irritation over a realistic pov got you hot and bothered

I don't think her comeback was iconic. It was very weird, how after years of drama and scandal culminating with the breakdown, she suddenly pops up looking cleaner a few months later and acting like nothing ever happened

What's iconic about Britney?
The fact I often read her stans to brag about how "much" she accomplishes with doing so little and above all how it is a good thing and they don't mind (their money) being taken advantage of.
