Kat DeLuna - I heard her name being thrown around a few times, and then I saw that Whine Up had been released to iTunes. I listened to it, and now I'm HOOKED! Best new summer artist, by far. I hope Whine Up reaches Pon De Replay status.
Paramore - Someone posted the video to Misery Business here, so on a day when I was bored, I decided to check them out and needless-to-say, I'm a fan now.
J. Holiday - Two words: Thanks Arith!!!
T.I. - I knew a little bit about him, but never really paid much attention. A lot of people at ATRL seemed to praise him a lot, so I did some research/listening, and I think he's one of the greatest rappers of the decade.
^Can't forget Lily Allen, even though she was on one of the NOW CD's. I wouldn't have known about her if it wasn't for ATRL. I would've came across her on the NOW CD's, but I wouldn't have bought her CD most likely (one of my favorite CDS of all time also...) They don't play her on the radios here, which is why I wouldn't know about her.
*EDIT* I can't forget RBD! I don't know why I did, but I bought their Rebels CD randomly at the store (after hearing and listening to some of their stuff; thanks to ATRL) and I liked them. I never heard of RBD until ATRL t alked about them.
