Little Talks is just an amazing song and one of the biggest songs of 2012 man listening to it is haunting and dawning. Song of the year I agree. Uno is not bad but I think Dos was better for me anyway and GD tried their best and you can only take what you can get, Santigold’s album is amazing and capturers in a way she can and knows what she is doing with her sound and meanings in her songs. Didn’t even know The Tings Tings had any music at all new in 2012 , and if I did then I was too lazy to check out.
Ahh Metric their album is just as good to hear them and their wonderful sound, I will check out Japandroids’ album soon I do like The House That built Heaven.
On Your movie list, for some reason I haven’t had the change to check out Django Unchained and I heard some promising and not so promising words about it . Skyfall is good, haven’t see or read any spoilers about Zero Dark Thirty, The Cabin in the Woods was not bad for itself, The Dark Knight Rises is THE movie of the year in my books, & Lopper was ok.
Gary Clark Jr. ‘s album is really good and agree what you said about including having many different genres in each song and making sound just good and it is a good listening experience, Yeah it’s shocking to see the album Red here and yeah forgetting about Taylor’s ridiculous ,hypercritical boy troubles, the album is not bad and I can take what I like from it and leave all the stupid pop and wimpy sh!t that drive me crazy, State of Grace is a very interesting song in terms of the sound heard there, I heard of Dr. Dog back in 2008 and like the music I heard from back then and they sound good now too so I will check more of them soon. Great work on your Best of. Amazing to hear what you have to write. You start and finish quite well.
