Mine was I Am Not A Robot (Marina & The Diamonds)
I got it through the iTunes free download of the week or w/e
& I didn't really like it at first, but I had never listened to it in full
but about a year-year and a half later, I was going through my iTunes & saw it
so I listened to it again, and fell in love, which sparked my interest in her
The first song I heard by Mother Mother was Arms Tonite from the second album, O My Heart.
I heard it through Tap Tap Revenge back when I really liked the game
I was very impressed, and it made me keep Mother Mother on my list of bands to check out.
The summer (?) of 2011 I bought Eureka and the rest is history
"Bad Romance" for Gaga. I was slain.
"Last Angel" for Ayu. Again, I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
Madonna... hmmm. Maybe "Papa Don't Preach"?
For Carly it was CMM followed by the original (and better) "Curiosity".

Just Like a Pill
I adored the M!ss album when I was younger and had Don't Let Me Get Me and Just Like a Pill on repeat forever. I stayed a stan for her until now.
Mariah - Shake It Off or We Belong Together when they first came out and I was a kid. I think I liked them, because a few years later I remember me jamming to Shake It Off when I heard it again.
Aaliyah - Rock The Boat. I will always love that song.
Azealia - It was '212' I'm thinking. It was either from the Spotify Ad or I had heard it before on MTV. I eventually clicked the Spotify ad, listened and became addicted to the 1991 EP.
Ke$ha - Tik Tok. Loved it, I was watching a Sims video and it was the music in the background or a Sims Music Video to the song. I became so obsessed w/ it, I searched the song and fell in love.
Reflection from the Mulan soundtrack. I had no idea who sang it though or even who Christina was because she had no album out or anything. I liked it but I swear every girl would sing it whenever there was a talent competition
