#19. Calvin Harris feat. Example - "We'll Be Coming Back"
#16. Lana del Rey - "National Anthem"
#15. Florence & the Machine - "Spectrum (Say My Name)"
Genre:Contemporary R&B, Pop Soul, Synth Pop, Neo Soul, Chamber Pop Album:Unapologetic - Country:Barbados
TEH QUEEN of Barbados released this as the first single of Unapologetic. The main reason I loved this song is from the hype of the first single, and having another RiRi song. But, besides Pon de Replay and Take a Bow, this could be her weakest lead single yet. But anyways, still an amazing song, and RiRi vocally delivers. A LOT. And she looks gawjus on it's video.

Gotye feat. Kimbra "Somebody That I Used to Know"
Genre:Indie Rock, Art Pop, Indie Pop, Alternative Rock, Art Rock Album:Making Mirrors - Country:Belgium/New Zealand
Must admit that I liked more this song when it wasn't THAT popular, but it's still an amazing song. Gotye's vocals are very good (maybe some bitch may think that it's not, but it is) and Kimbra is just beautiful. The video is very innovative, something we've never seen before, I think.

Crystal Castles feat. Robert Smith of The Cure "Not in Love"
OK. Before you all drama queers start screaming "OH MY GOSSSHHHH THIS SONG IS FROM 2010! YOU ARE SO LATEEEEKAJAFHGASDFH!" I'm going to tell you what happened over here. I've always loved the Crystal Castles, but not always as much as I'm loving them now. The video for this song was released on early 2011, listened to it, and didn't like it so much, since, I love Alice's voice, and I didn't like Robert's voice a lot. I preffered the original version on CC's (II). Until now. Now I really love this song, and 2012 would be incomplete without this song, at least in my opinion. So that.

Drake feat. Rihanna "Take Care"
Genre:Alternative Hip Hop, Contemporary R&B, Pop Rap, Art Pop, Hip Hop Album:Take Care - Country:Canada/Barbados
The queen of Barbados collaborated for the 2nd time with Canadian rap king, this time, sampling a Jamie XX track, that samples another track by Gil-Scott Heron. I know it's ****ed. But it's amazing. One of the most experimental songs they both made. The video came out a couple of days before Easter, and I watched that video A LOT! SERIOUSLY! So flawless, so arty. Kanye could neva to be honest. This is the last appearence by a man (in the lead act, not in a group) in this countdown.
This DID NOT deserved to flop that way. It should have been WAY more succesful. I mean, it did very well for a Marina song, but it deserved to be a worldwide smash, to be everywhere on the radios, but it didn't. I'm still rooting for HTBAHB to do way better. The video is like vintage throwback of a, well, prima donna girl, who likes dogs and enjoys having so much fun (and having big boobs!)
Dear. Jesus. This might be, just the best song of the decade so far. It is the perfect Pop song your favs could only ever dream of. It has one of the best video effects i've ever seen in my whole life. I'm pretty happy that this song became a big hit, kinda pissed that, that "Whistle" thing blocked it, tho. I am the only one that hoped for this song to become a big hit, and I knew it before almost all the ATRLers knew it. Ellie Goulding is the new queen of Electropop, and you all bitches will stay madT and pressedT.

M.I.A. "Bad Girls"
Genre:Alternative Hip Hop, Worldbeat, Dancehall, Pop Rap, Hip Hop Album:Matangi - Country:Sri Lanka
Everyone knows this is the video of the year. Everyone knows this song is amazing. That's all I can say. MATANGI MUST COME IN 2013.
#12. Rihannna - "Diamonds"
#11. Gotye feat. Kimbra - "Somebody That I Used to Know"
#10. Crystal Castles feat. Robert Smith of The Cure - "Not in Love"
#07. Ellie Goulding - "Lights"
Exagerado too much
Me gusta mucho Lights
Not In Love
STIUTK Mi #1 de 2012 Masterpiece!
Genre: Electro Pop, Dream Pop, Synth Pop, Art Pop, Indie Electronic - Country: Sweden
This album is exactly what I want from an electropop album. It takes much of the accessible framework of many mainstream artists and mixes it with an odd, more arty approach, to create a fresh sound that really can't be compared to any artist today. Upon first listen, the album can be a bit tough to swallow. It's surely a lot more ambitious than the typical electropop album is.
BEST SONGS: "Kill", "Goods", "Good Worker"

Rihanna - 'Unapologetic'
Genre: Contemporary R&B, Dance Pop, Pop Rap, Dubstep, Electro Pop - Country: Barbados
This is RiRi's not exactly, her best effort, but anyways, there is some many different stuff going on here, and it's not like it's a bad thing. She experiments with lot of genres, like Dubstep, Soul music, Trap, Moombahton, even Baroque Pop!, but something is lacking to be her 'perfect album'. Anyways, still great, and it's much better than some other popstars latest efforts.
BEST SONGS: "Lost in Paradise", "Love Without Tragedy/Mother Mary", "Pour It Up"

Crystal Castles - '(III)'
Genre: Synth Pop, Dream Pop, New Rave, Witch House, Bit Pop - Country: Canada
If you listen to (I), then listen to (III) all on a row, it may sound like a big, more obscure change on their sounds (that's why (II) exists in my opinion), but there are some things that make you say, "This is a CC album". The beats, the lyrics, Alice's screams, you could never mistake them. The bit-pop from the first album fusionates with the witch house wave. And I love it. So ****ing much. Your favs could NEVA. NEVA EVA.
BEST SONGS: "Violent Youth", "Kerosene", "Sad Eyes"

AWESOME BALLAD. I ****ING CRY EVERYTIME I LISTEN TO LISTEN TO THIS FLAWLESS SONG. SDFOAJFASDFKJFKJASD I DON'T KNOW HOW PEOPLE CAN HATE HER. PERFECT. BEAUTIFUL. AND AN AMAZING VIDEO. WHAT ELSE YOU WANT REDUCTIVE BITCHES.
Nervo, Where have you beensus y mas que excelente #1 aunque yo no le di lo que merecia, porque me gusto a finales del 2011 - principios del 2012... y quedó baja en ambos best ofs, en el del 2011 y en el del 2012 pero es excelente, y eso que no me gustan mucho las baladas
