Half of FF wasn't that "safe" and the rest was mostly a throwback to her old material or past legends ("I Wanna Go"="Brave New Girl", "TTWE"=same progressive chorus as "Toxic" and elements from "Trouble", "Criminal"= Supertramp's"The Logical Song"...). It's funny because it made me realize how ahead of its time her music is and when she "time travels" to her previous sounds, it has already been recycled by up and coming popstars whom she is accused to have copied. Now, isn't it ironic? Don't you think?
She already has a global sound so I don't understand what he meant with that ,and it's more important to create a good pop album even if it doesn't revolutionize anything so they should hype that angle instead IMO.
OH MY GAWD "hip hop elements and pop music elements" I'M SO READY FOR THE COMEBACK OF HIPHOPNEY/URBANEY!
As a fan, I think it's awesome to hear Britney's working with producers who are hungry and motivated to help take her work to the next level. Looking forward to seeing what he comes up with.
