Tiziano Ferro confesses to Daria Bignardi: "I was dumped by my boyfriend"

Paraphrasing his last great discographical success, Tiziano Ferro, last night guest of the first episode of "Le Invasioni Barbariche" on La7 says he is single again. "He left me," he revealed during the interview with the presenter Daria Bignardi, confirming rumors that had spread about it last November.
The singer, who came out two and a half years ago, declaring his homosexuality, has been dwelling on it for a long time. "It was the first time I was really in love, there are more decent ways to end a relationship," he added regarding the behavior of his mysterious, now ex-partner.
The singer did not hide his disappointment due the end of the story, confessing also his own responsibilities: "For his part some aspects were not accepted, for my part I could not change things, to offer him the security he was looking for". Ferro spoke more generally of gay relationships: "There's a sentimental side to them, it's not about a sexual choice, but about true love, in the same way as heterosexual ones."
About unions between persons of the same sex Ferro also stated: "I won't go to Spain to get married, either it can be done here, or I don't get married. I think it's important to stay in Italy and fight for the right." Which right? "To leave the choice to the individual - he explained - as it should happen in a civilized society."
The artist, coming from the extraordinary success of the last album ("L'amore è una cosa semplice" was the best-selling album in Italy in 2012, also certified six times platinum) has also "called" the characteristics of his ideal boyfriend: "I do not care physical appearance, should rather be a settled person who can compensate for my troubles" and added, jokingly, regarding his looks: "Cute face, tall or short or even medium stature, or handsome, or really handsome".

Didn't Tiziano say he dated a "larger" man and that turned him right off? He totally cares about physical appearance.
But just being left like that is terrible, that's a really terrible way to end a relationship*. Only a coward would do that. I'm sure Tiziano will find comfort with a much younger man.

I think most of everyone cares about appearance. There's some that really don't care, but for the most part, the majority of the people who say they don't care about appearance are lying.

Hm..didn't know he was gay. But it's a shame he got ditched though Love will come back to him. He seems like such a nice guy to be with.

But yes I agree, everyone cares about physical appearance in some way. He did go on a date with a guy who was "even fatter than I am" (in his words, from his diaries) but I think he sees that as a character flaw rather than a physical flaw. In the end there was no second date because "he had nothing interesting to say".

but his voice is really pretty.
That's cause it's a cover (the only one he's ever done) of a hip hop song. The original is like that as well.
