Beyonce is known for lip-syncing to pre-recorded vocals all the time, so no surprise.

AP and closed like 10 times. The marine band has since put out a statement saying they are not in a position to know whether beyonces performance was live or lip synced

They say a lot of artist pre-record the National Anthem for huge events such as the inauguration.
Also there was a video leaked of Her practicing during the rehearsal/soundcheck and it sounded just about the same as the live version... So It very well could have been pre-recorded.Not surprising though.

I'm on the fence though because it felt real.Also she took her earpiece out midways through the performance as if she couldn't hear =/
