Pro-choice? what a thicky way to call such a disgusting act, as murder. Because that's what abortion is: MURDER. Choice? You could have chosen not to have sex in the first place, so you wouldn't have gotten pregnant in the first place. And a woman can choose what to do with her body AS LONG AS IT DOESN'T AFFECT OTHERS (including a baby). And even if she was raped, there is always the option of gving him into adoption

It's relevant to the point of the value of a life. Though I am a man, therefore don't understand the sacrifice of a pregnancy, I don't like how people pump pro-choice as if it's the right choice.

Maybe not being able to feel what a woman feels you may think I'm ignorant but I think that:

I don't think it's very acceptable, though I understand mistakes, that people carelessly don't use condoms. It's not even about religion, I think the decision of the baby is important. Imagine hypothetically a pro-life person convinced your mother to have you. I mean, in that case you'd have to thank someone that is against your point of view of life.

However, like I said I can understand extreme cases like the pregnancy endangering the life of the mother... The emotional distress however is no excuse for taking a life away, you gotta be responsible of your actions.

Pro-choice. However, I'm anti-abortion. I feel like if you know raising a baby isn't your choice in life, put it up for adoption, and let it go to a happy home, instead of killing it.

I'm pro life. But I don't judge anyone who decides to have an abortion cause I personally don't know the reason in which they chose to do it. However any woman should only have one abortion. After that I really do think you need to have the baby cause in this day and age there's no reason to be accidentally getting pregnant more than once (really its very avoidable altogether but hey) I say this because I know a lot of girls who have had multiple abortions and to me it's disgusting like if you're that grown to continuously have unprotected sex (which is the case most of the time) then you should be grown enough to find a job and support your child that was a result of YOUR recklessness. Anyways I'm rambling but if a woman does it it's up to them but I personally don't agree with it but its not my body so hey.

Tens of thousands of women die every single year from unsafe, "back-alley" abortions. Making abortion illegal doesn't make abortions happen any less frequently; it just makes them unsafe. That alone is reason enough for it to be legal imo.

Some people are not fit to have babies. Whether it is because of rape, or financially unstable, or unhealthy, or manny other reasons. I feel like it is one's choice to decide whether one is capable of carrying a baby for 9 months. I would never want to put a baby for adoption because you never know what will happen to that baby and you cannot guarantee the happiness of the baby. A baby could be just as miserable. PLUS, if the mom can't take care of herself during the 9 months, do you really think she should carry that baby risking it's health and happiness in the future... Women should know if they are capable of carrying that baby, and women should be able to decide if they want to, because in the end the mom's happiness will influence that kids happiness!

It is disgusting... but what about gay men having unprotected sex and getting AIDS? Are they to blame for it? Or smokers who get cancer? People do all sorts of mistakes over and over... I agree that you think it's a life, but it's a woman's body as well.

Just responding to this bit. Pro-choice means, obviously, you can choose to do what you want. You can think whatever you want. If you want an abortion, you get an abortion. If you don't want an abortion, you don't get an abortion. Literally everybody gets what they want and they can live their life however they please. Pro-life is forcing one view on everybody. There is no choice of how you want to live your life. I think being pro-choice is a good thing because it allows people not only to get abortions, but allows people to be pro-life in their own life, it that makes sense. You can choose to be against abortions and be pro-choice. Pro-choice does not necessarily mean being pro-abortion, it just means you are for people making decisions for themselves.

Pro-choice to an extent. I don't think it's right to abort late into a pregnancy if it's unnecessary.

Funnily enough, I did my term paper for Sociology on the issue of abortion. It seems like this is another issue on which ATRL is more liberal than the general population.

I'm pro-life but abortion shouldn't be illegal, I guess a legal petition to a judge and state assistance would be better than to endanger desperate women to go to illegal dangerous places and die.
