Am I the only one who didnt dig the No Doubt album?
Otherwise - awesome to see showings for Passion Pit, Imagine Dragons, and some great pop tracks from Maroon 5 and the Biebs.

Ke! Once again, two more wonderful sets of music, that combine your personal experiences from those months, and ties it into songs, albums, videos, love it!
For October, nice call on the Imagine Dragons video! Love The Ellie Goulding, and "Anything Could Happen" is a good one. Unaware of your October songs (for now!), and the Yuna album sounds interesting. She did a mellow cover of "Come As You Are"?! Love it! Will have to CHECK IT OUT.
November, Kendrick Lamar! **** yeah! "Swimming Pools" (Drank) is a great one. Anything Kendrick is awesome, and am happy that he had such a big year. Very happy that he made your list! And haha, I remember you mentioning that, about "Too Close," during one of the LFRFest chats. Need to listen to the November songs, especially Scissor Sisters. And I've liked what i've heard from "Electra Heart." Love how that album evolved for you, from you thinking it was only OK, to then it finally clicking for you. That's always a great moment when that happens.
Great stuff, as always. Looking forward to DECEMBER!

This is a really great thread. Each year I love going through by season and talking about my favorite songs from each one because it tells a story about the progression of the year, so it's wonderful to see that model extended to the favorite songs and albums of each of the 12 months + more details about events related to them. Love it.
I'm on board with Ellie, Marina (obviously), Grimes, Of Monsters..., Kimbra, Santigold, Electric Guest, Norah, Katy, Fiona, Jack White, and many, many more. Purity Ring especially. I discovered them thanks to Sirius XMU about halfway through the year and instantly loved 'em. Yuna is great, too. I remember her "Come As You Are" cover well (it made it onto my 2011 year-end too) and really liked what she did with it. She turned that song upside down. Great stuff.
Can't wait for the conclusion!

I adore your set up.
Yuna is good, I'm happy to see her / the album getting ATRL recognition.

Gosh! Well that’s out of the way, Starting with January, got a lot of songs that I need to listen but I do like the video for Bad Girls so epic & the opening sequence with the Girl with the Dragons Tattoo just murders. In Feb. Little Talks is one of the best songs to come out in 2012 and man it’s awesome in every way to the dual harmonies , to the up-beat sadistic nature of the song, & everything in between. Hey! Padding Out just rules so much, All The Rowboats is a good song by Regina, haven’t check anything by The Ting Tings, I should’ve. Grimes’ albums showcase her style, vocals, instruments and send a defining sound to the ears to take pleasure in Her videos also showcase her personally with her music. In March King of Heats, Nuclear Sessions and Put Your Graffiti on me were all fine songs on their own ways. Kimbra is an amazing artists, her videos are interesting and works with her music and her album is just great. In April the video for BEAST is intriguing and funny at the same time. Sixteen Saltines and Ho Hey are just great songs that rule 2012. Santigold’s music is just awesome and Genius. In wholesome May, Interesting about your liking towards Mike Posner, Nice song by the way, Never Go Back and F**k U Betta are also good ones. I like Electric Guest’s songs so their album could be a good one once I listen to it. Good to Danger Mouse worked with them. In June where thing ends for childish plays and I graduated to real life circumstances and also where the start of an out-going and also lazy summer with stuff going on and mellow out a bit and got back to music and mentally is full restored after a disaster year in 2011. One Day / Reckoning Song (Wankelmut Remix) awesome song and video, like Every Single Night, Wide Awake and Waiting Alone. Norah’s album is just good.
In July where to no surprise is the best and only great month of 2012 while also had some bums and bruises but that’s how I roll yup Let’s Go is the ideal thing to do to reach a new beginning or it’s time to begin or just to begin again. Set It off Diplo style, like the Little Boots song, Daughter are a pain to deal with example my sister but a worse is having an actual teenage daughter. Is Nas’ daughter the same age is as me? Yup we all work hard play hard the go-getter for that money, money, money. Garbage’s album is not bad. August we go where we die down and get ready to go full throttle and yeah baby one more night, nice video up there, Let’s Go, Let It Go Wild ones,Talk A Walk-all awesome .Purity Ring’s album many thing to say about the uniqueness there. September. BURN IT DOWN is EPIC period. Like the Flobot song that I keep forgetting to put on my End of. Well too late for that now. Damn Dan Blakc and Nostetter have new music? Out of touch I am. Representing Imagine Dragons in October is a great choice. Radioactive! Radioactive! Anything Could Happen indeed. Like Niki & The Dove song & must check out Yuna’s album. To November where Kendrick had released an awesome album, like the SS song & Marina and the Diamonds’ album is just good to hear.
See this is your cue to say gosh you have written a messy essay that I‘m not bothering to read \ I’m so nice that I enjoy this too much and like the format you did for the Months really good to check out and progression throughout the year. I should do a secret Monthly thing in review about the music + Life to look back on. Great Call and some awesome music here. Can’t wait for more.

Wow, how could I have missed this? Anyway I've read it all now, so I approve of Not Your Kind Of People, the reggaeton songs and a few random catchy others great job with the format though, it was definitely different, and a fun way to do your ender. Great job.
