Madonna pays Marlon Brando's estate after their legal spat

MADONNA is close to settling her legal spat with the administrators of MARLON BRANDO's estate after using the late movie star's image on tour.
The pop star flashed a shot of the actor up on a big screen during performances of her name-dropping hit Vogue on her MDMA tour, upsetting Brando's estate bosses, who sued over the alleged illegal use of the photo.
Brando's licensing representatives demanded £62,500 for each non-wilful use and £625,000 for each wilful use of the image.
But it appears both sides are close to reaching a deal - lawyers have informed the court they have reached a settlement in principle but need time to execute full agreement.
