In my world issues class my teacher said if your family owns 2 cars you're automatically in the top %5 of the world.

I don't see why the rich have to share their wealth. They pay enough in taxes and yes I'm a democrat.

I don't believe that. We have 3 cars. Mom, dad, and me and my sister share a car. They're not luxury cars so I don't really think that's true.

That's why Britney is so humble even though she's getting a lot of doe to pay her conservators. good day yall.

The whole point is that you have a car, automatically putting your level of wealth above others that don't.

Not all of them pay a lot of taxes though.

I don't see how rich people make such a big deal of having to donate. I know plenty of people who are well under average income earners, and donate every spare penny they have to charitable organizations and they don't complain once.

I also don't see why people who are kid's or inheritance of money that did nothing to earn it see such a big deal in donating when they didn't even have to work a single day in their life to earn it.

The irony

this is just so sad... but then again, taxing those 100 people out of their money would diminish the drive for people to get rich, and that drive drives capitalism

It's sad. And a lot of those ultra poor can't help themselves because there's no help at all or food.

There's this private school near my home (it's a $30,000 a year high school) and they always do this charity thing once a year and the school raised $17 million. It was their highest I think. The school always raises a couple of millions though. Anyway, I was talking to this local and he told me that the reason why people donate a huge amount of money is to avoid paying more taxes, which makes sense when they file at the end of the year. It's pretty smart.
