It's common knowledge that among ATRL's population, reality TV shows like Basketball Wives, Real Housewives of Atlanta, and Bad Girls Club are TV faves

Let's say Hypothetically,a network like VH1,Bravo,Logo,or WEtv were to launch a mainstream reality TV show like RHOA,or Bad Girls Club that featured an almost exclusive cast of GLBT members behaving the same way as the cast on other reality shows.What would your initial reaction be?? Would you want that show pulled off the air with the quickness? Would you watch and give it a try?Do you think it will end up being the next Jersey Shore?

Before you mentioned RuPaul's show,I am NOT talking about that type of reality TV.I mean the type that actually 'documents daily life' (ie RHOA)

My initial reaction would be I don't really care, those lgbt ppl who make a fool out of themselves on tv don't represent me. And if ppl take those few ppl and stereotype me and my community for it, there is something wrong with them. So i would give the show a chance, but just in case it is really just too much (shawty lo's tv show) then I might want it taken off the air.

I'd be on the fence about this one.

The GIFS would be EPIC and I KNOW there would be some KIIs in there but still it wouldn't be something that I would vouch for myself.

Well I love me some BGC and RHOA but I wouldn't want to see my own people doing that ****.

Anyway, I haven't watched that kind of reality tv since I Love New York.

If there was a gay version of Bad Girls Club, I would be sending in my audition tape rn

It was trash but I kind of enjoyed watching it

The average gay man either sees or is involved in enough drama on a daily basis...I doubt seeing foreign queens and their drama will be anything new...

Not too much on the A-List...I used occassionally.

Leave that sh*t for the women. Gay men must be sophisticated and classy.

Well, like they do with every other reality show, they would pick the most flamboyant and obnoxious cast members and people would cry that it "paints a bad picture of the LGBT community". I don't care either way.

I haven't seen those shows but I wouldn't mind to watch that kind of LGBT-reality.

In the other hand, I don't think the GP would be here for it.

I feel like whoever was casting the show would look for the most textbook definition of gay. I don't think there would be much variety.
