Yeah, I agree. I don't think a #1 on pop is going to happen. I'd be fine with a top 5 peak. Should be #8 by next week.

Will it count? We still have Womanizer and possibly Hold it against me which is a long shot.
If only they hadn't erased Britney's Gimme more and Piece of me counts when it was around 60 and 80M respectively...they would be over 100M views. Still mad that Piece of me made it so high and then they just removed the video and the counts.

I do see where the dated thing comes from but I think all of her albums are dated...and that's not a bad thing. What makes her career so interesting is that each record is a snapshot in time for either where she was in her life or what sound/vibe she was using at the time.
I will admit that it's replay value is only a step above her first two albums for me. Hopefully her 8th will give me In the zone, Britney and Blackout vibes where I have to buy the CD more than 4 times because of the skipping from my overuse.

Sigh...I still remember staying up for the making of the video. I still remember the shade the haters were throwing at her, too. Helping her views by staying perched in anything she did. I love it.
