This seriously the best horror film chase scene in HISTORY imo! It goes right up there with the legends in horror films imo

I LOVE and HATE this scene, she's always been the only character I care about/reason I watch that movie, and the scene is so epic and I love SMG. I just get so sad/mad when she is RIGHT THERE at the parade and he just comes out of nowhere and the end

It would not have worked nowhere near as well as it did without Sarah, factually one of the best ever.

I think Sarah's chase scene in Scream 2 is better and more iconic.

I strongly disagree. Love her scene in Scream 2 because she's basically amazing in everything, but this scene has such a great build and as far as chase scenes go in the whole teen horror fad from the late 90's/early 00's, this one is very likely the best just because it is so epic. The Buffy episode "Helpless" actually had a scene in this that reminded me a lot of this movie. She just plays these scenes so well!

As far as chase scenes in this era go though, a close 2nd would probably be Gale's scene from Scream 2. That **** was tense!
