The parts of Canada that most people live have the same weather as the top half of America. Besides, Toronto is bigger than every American city other than NYC, LA and Chicago. We also have Montreal, Vancouver, Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton, Mississauga. Trust me, it's not boring.
Anyway, if I did have to move I'd end up picking Australia b/c I know for sure I won't be motivated to learn a new language and writing. It's basically the same as Canada but has warm winters.
