I need to listen to Bionic again tbh but of what I remember I hated it so much and Lotus is ok.

Back to Basics was her last good album. Her best, actually.
Bionic was trash and I couldnt care to listen to Lotus after hearing the atrocious singles.

I'm here for both and I love them openly but I didn't mark it.

I actually live for the Lotus Intro, it is flawless and inspirational.

Only big artists get slammed for commercial dissapointment though, there are artists that have quite the following here that actually flop, rather than underperform like X has, that people love, praise and hail. It seems like a double standard to me.

I liked that article a while back calling her a niche artist with a solid loyal fanbase, there will always be people to buy her records just not millions of us, as long as she makes music with her own style and flair rather than imitating the top 40 like some desperate older artists resort to, she will be fine.
