When someone drops money, do you take it or keep it?
This is a might of a moral question, but its something that happens more often than you think. It doesn't have to be money, but anything valuable.
I always, always give it back to a person if I see them drop something of value. I don't understand how people could take things that aren't theirs. And if I didn't see the person, I'll make sure to find a way to give it to them. But there's some people in the world who do the opposite.
I remember returning a wallet I found outside on the sidewalk years ago. The person was so grateful cause it had a lot of personal and valuable information. It made me feel good that I could help that person.
Now if I was walking and I see a $20 or a $50 just lying on the ground, I'm gonna take it but if I actually see them drop it, I'll give it back.
I give it back. I once returned money to a bank because they gave me too much. The lady was so grateful. She said she could have lost her job for coming up short.

So many votes for "I'd return the money". So many liars, good Samaritans on ATRL
EDIT: I would give the money back regardless of if I knew the person or not, but if there's no one around and there's a $50 bill in the middle of the street, I'm not going to ask around to see who dropped it.
I got onto the bus just a few days before Christmas and the girl in front of me was getting her purse out to pay for the ticket and she dropped a stash of notes (which were all £20 notes, so I guess there was a few hundred there). She didn't notice, so I was like "excuse me" but she couldn't hear me, so I started tapping her on the shoulder, she jumped like I was a rapist but I told her she'd dropped some money, she looked down and literally was in shock.
I guess she was shocked at how much she dropped, but more so that I actually told her and didn't take it. I never would. It never even crossed my mind. The bus driver later muttered something to me, but I couldn't really tell what he was saying. It was something to do with the money, but with the look on his face I think he was pissed I gave it back since he probably wanted it.
Anyway, it felt good to give it back. It felt like I was racking up good karma.
