He gained much commercial and critical recognition for co-producing Rihanna’s "Only Girl (In the World)", “Firework” by Katy Perry, and 8 songs on the David Guetta album One Love.
Sandy Vee won the Best Dance Recording at the 2011 Grammy Awards for Rihanna's "Only Girl (In the World)". He was also nominated in the category Album of the Year for Katy Perry's Teenage Dream.[2][3]
So apparently will.i.am is the executive producer

People need to build a bridge and get over the obvious. There was a shot that it wouldn't have gone that way had Scream and shout flopped but it's a hit...of course they would go that right.

It's like the more people clarify the more people continue to ignore this.

I don't care for anything Hitboy has done, I don't like Ester Na Na La La Dean, Elijah Blake is just a songwriter who seems like a fame-*****, will.i.am is will.i.am, and Max Martin & Dr. Luke while not confirmed are tired. And I'm sure she'll call up B&A to give her two over-produced songs with over-processed vocals per usual. Oh and then there is Flopchild who gave THE WORST track on Femme Fatale, with Don't Keep Me Waiting.
There are too many people in this industry to be working with some of the most predictable and insipid people it has to offer. I'm sure it will be a [perfectly fine album and she will get good reviews like she always does...but I don't care at this moment.
Thank God Loreen is coming out with an album this year.

Get over it. Like...Britney always delivers a good album.

No meltdowns till you hear things first.

Thank you.

That is not good for Britney if you want the best for her..

But some stans that are unnecessarily negative need to also understand that none of us have control over her career and the direction so you can choose to have meltdowns or handle things in a mature manner. I would have loved for her to be the executive producer but I'm not crapping my pants and getting seizures of Will.i.am's possibly being the EP.

Also, my post wasn't a "meltdown", I've said since the beginning I'm just not that interested in this album yet
I'm sure it will all work itself out in the end , but as of now...I have other albums I'm more excited about.
|
It was a meltdown and you need to deal because it's not that serious.

As long as Dr Luke is not involved in this album(1 track only) i'm happy
I have Faith in William.

Oop...I was thinking Mario Bros...I'm sure she can ride a Supermario 2 and 3 beat like no other. The slayage

Sweet baby Jesus. What went on in here?
First of all, calm yourselves. There are plenty of album releases in 2013 and if you don't like Britney's I'm sure y'all will find plenty of other records to suit your needs.
Second of all, Britney is working with great people.
Dr, Luke did the 2 best songs on FF. I LOVE HIAM & TTWE and I would love for him to bring some amazing hits for album 8. Britney brings out the best in him and his work with other pop stars pales in comparison to what was on FF.
- Darkchild is an amazing producer too. I also happen to love Don't Keep Me Waiting and we all know the worst song on FF was BFB.
- Ina Wroldsen wrote HATLM. I was aware that everyone enjoyed that song and the more mature, stripped-down lyrics. That song was ALSO produced by Darkchild. This might indicate that Britney is going for a more mature sound.
- Well, seeing as most people overrate Danja to the high heavens, I would of thought many of you would of been excited for him!
-Bloodshy & Avant are always great. How I Roll & Trip To Your Heart were some of the best from FF.
-Max Martin is quite versatile and Britney herself said that he's the producer she's most comfortable working with. I see no problem with him contributing to album 8.
- I thought we were all here for more urban tracks? Hit-Boy is an URBAN producer. A good one too.
- Well, with the success of S&S, can you really blame them for wanting will.i.am back? I love S&S and I doubt will would ever do anything as bad as BFB again so anything he does for this album is an improvement.
Look at how much I had to write.

You clocked the tea like a TRUE stan. Never underestimate Britney.

Well, will.i.am did produce most of The Duchess and that album was really good so I'm pretty keen on what he has to offer. And his work with BEP and Fergie solo were all successful for the most part so I can imagine his work with Britney doing just as well. Not to mention, The Beginning (their last album) even with mediocre reviews and selling less than FF in the US (around 650K) sold 2.1 million WW. So the GP seems to be here for his work (except his solo songs excluding S&S).
If album 8 can sell 2-3 million, I'd be pretty satisfied.
|
I just need a platinum #1 album in the US, 3M+WW.
3 top 10s US (1 is #1), 4 top 10s WW (1 or 2 are #1)
At least 2 memorable singles and videos.
Also, nominations at the Grammy's, AMA's, VMA's, BMA's, EMAs, etc.
