If anything it's even more embarassing that Amelia beat Tulisa cause Tulisa had all the X Factor promo plus she had just had a number 1 with the previous single so the hype was there... but the buyers weren't. You should really do a quick google search for these things before you come in here... google is your friend. Remember that and you will go far in life.
Amelia had better radio support and Tulisa didn't perform it on XFactor so i dont see why thats a massive help so it wasn't that surprising she beat her tbh. Good for her though

Amelia didn't perform it on X Factor either so I'm not sure I'm following... By X Factor promo I meant Tulisa was on the show every week and at the time she released Young she was quite huge so LIU should've done well too... but it didn't. Amelia didn't have much promo at all yet she mannaged to peak at 2... which is why I think Shut Up will do well, because she seems to have a fairly stable fan base already
