Where I live they never check your stuff when you're going in, all you have to do is show your ticket. I remember me and my friend used to buy popcorn from a machine in the shopping centre across the road before we went in. It gave you the exact same size as the cinema for one fifth of the price.
Bringing in McDonalds to the cinema is ridiculous though, who actually does that?
No, but I should. Here in Canada, most things are taxed, which means a medium popcorn and medium drink come to like 12.50$. I don't have that kinda money. I should start, really. It's a good thing the McDonald's is close to the theatre.
one time my friend and I went to the movies and we snuck in subway foot long sandwiches in her purse. the theatre smelled like meatballs for the whole movie.
