HELL NO, to be precise.
If youre a serious comic book fan like me you would appreciate a comic book adaptation that was lighthearted and fun.

Since the success of Dark Knight, every comic book movie tried to be dark and realistic and serious. Sucked ALLLLL the fun out of Spiderman, and made Fantastic 4 wack as ****. Avengers brought some of that fantasy back and made it cool again IMO.

nope, its the first movie i went to the cinema 4 times to watch and brought the dvd the second it came out... i think if your a comic book fan like me then this film is pretty much one of the biggest things ever

I don't think so, not when compared to other super hero movies. This one did a phenomenal job of doing what it was supposed to do, give us tons of shit blowing up and some simple gags, plus they really had some great character development and set it up right nice for a sequel.

Well I meant the whole Christian Bale Batman series (I refer to them all as "Dark Knight" movies, it's wrong, I know, but still) Since then all of those Comic book movies have to as close to reality as possible, when really, Marvel aint about that life.
