She started the promo too early. The X Factor performance should have been for 'Die Young' instead.
The MTV NYE performance didn't really do anything. She should be scheduling promotion for now.

I agree. Did the X Factor performance even help the song at the time? She probably wouldn't have gotten much of a boost regardless of which song she performed, but it would have made more sense to perform Die Young.

Not really. The song has only started to see big increases on iTunes during the last two weeks.
That is largely thanks to the impressive radio updates it has been getting recently.

I have a feeling that the song will most likely be somewhere in the top 15 on iTunes by Sunday or Monday. I'm glad to see that it is picking up so quickly. Hopefully after it peaks, it'll have some longevity as well.

It does not take a brain surgen to figure this equation out.

"Die Young" was dropped hardcore after the shootings. Alot of stations were not allowed to play the song for a full week so it dropped right out of #1. The recovery would eventually happen since it was a #1 single that suddenly dropped just based on the title.

"C'mon" was rushed as a single. It got adds right away to absorb some of the shock now its transition."Die Young" is actually still big at radio it's #12 and "C'mon" is #17.

If you combine the artists with singles in the Top 40 airplay spins together.

Urgh, I can't deal with the floppage of this era so far compared to how much it could have slayed peoples lives with the right promotion, and lots of it. Warrior is an incredible album and Kesha deserves the success that she isn't exactly getting right now.
