Lady Gaga took to her twitter account and to LittleMonsters.com to inform her little monsters about a special skype call she was putting together for her fans to ask questions and to be answered.
At 2pm PST on Thursday, January, 17, 2013 the video chat started. The call lasted about approximately 20 minutes, with about 7-8 questions were answered until Gaga told her little monster fans “I have to go…I’m sorry I wish I could stay, I have to sleep because I have to get ready for the Born This Way Ball tonight…” then call ended.
According to skype’s stats, this single 20 minute call broke skype’s records with over 200,000 people in one room which eventually crashed skype’s server for seven minutes. The previously record was set when musician Drake went on skype to do a similar live broadcast with over 127,000 people, Justin Bieber back in 2009 had an audience of 105,000 people in the room.
