I usually get between 20 and 45 minutes for an interview. It can be tough to fill time. If you assume 1 minute per question, and I've gotten some 1 word answers before, you can be out of material fast.
Also the person you're interviewing could be busy, about to go somewhere, or have other obligations, like Gaga does today.
