I wouldnt really call My December a flop. I think people throw around that word way too loosely. If it continued selling the way it is now, with no more singles, it would go platinum as it is. Yes that is not up to par with what we're used to Kelly selling, but it's not a flop. Kelly is gonna release more singles though and then you'll see the record sales shoot up.

i know it´s too early to call MD a flop already, but the way it debuted and sells, it´s on it´s way to one of recent years most noticeable flops!
"breakaway" was her breakthrough album worldwide, it had amazing longevity thanks to strong singles, she was the new ish...."my december" goes off from a totally new point in her career, as a global star, so whenmy december only debuted with 400k worldwide, and week after week dropping pretty hard, it´s inevitable it´s going to dissapear from the lists pretty soon....and going from 11 millions of a 2004 album to (so far) 800k for an album released 2,5 years later, is a catastrophe

she should release don't waste your time and how i feel...

My December is a huge disappointment. Strong verses, but then dreadful choruses.

what i was trying to say to the dramatic *****s who replied to my comment was, the issues on this album are a bit too deep. You can't go from singing what she was in Breakaway, then hyping your fines with other cool songs like "One Minute", then bada bing your album is a copy cat Amy Lee, but Evanescence is known for their sound so they are not bad. But you have to understand, I look at it like if she wanted to do this type of music, she should've tried that with the second album.


As far as me saying someone killing her, in the video of "NA" it is made to look like the guy killed her and she is haunting him, and that's scary. BITCHES! :P

Kelly could have pulled off this sound, it's just an evolution in her music.

^i know that. i've bought all of her singles/albums, except this last one.

^I was just explaining how it was not completely out the ballpark to her previous albums. It's the media attention that drug MD down.

^well she did completely take out the pop appeal. and any songs that are possible pop hits from MD, from what I've previewed, are exact replicas of previous singles.

But she stuck with the rock sound.

I don't think that she was ever going for the pop artist, in the beginning I thought she would stick with a Christina-type sound, then she went for the Avril-type sound, now she's her own artist.

i dunno if she looses like 50 pounds maybe she can look hot again
