I don't care who smokes weed or if it's illegal.
I just hate it when people claim it's not addictive and they don't rely on it to be happy.
But then all they talk about is smoking 24/7 and if they don't have their weed they're mad, down, what have you.
What kind of contradiction?
Also, that weed isn't a gateway drug.
Um, I'm pretty sure most people start off with weed, then try other harder drugs. People don't just start using heroin.
Once again. Do what you wish, I give no ****s, but don't be delusional about it.

There are also numerous studies advertising the positive effects of marijuana. I'm not going to say its healthy but I'm not going to say its significantly harmful for you either especialy when you have fast foods, cigarettes, and alcohol causing a $hit-fold more deaths than marijuana.
Alcohol and cigarettes ARE drugs but nobody recognizes them as drugs. The only reason why marijuana is being so hushed under the table is because it has the "drug" semantics attached to it.
I'd rather put something naturally made in my body than artificial drug-substances.

I thought marijuana was bad? Why is it being used as a medikal perskripshunnnn;nn?!?

I don't rely on weed to make me happy... I live a perfectly happy life. Just because I smoke several times a week does not mean I'm suffering from depression and am using it to make myself happy...
Maybe you're right though. Maybe the millions of people that socially drink in the afternoon are all sad too, and using alcohol to make themselves happy.

There hasn't been any case (truthfully, majority wise) where people who come off of weed start getting withdrawal effects. I don't suddenly start craving or get body aches when I haven't smoked in months, but of course like any other pastime entity or leisure..it'd be great to do again.
People smoke weed to have a good time, just like people who drink alcohol. You enjoy the time better but that doesn't mean people don't use it to escape from their reality or sadness either. Regardless of how you use it and what reason you're using it for, your body doesn't exhibit those horrendous withdrawal effects you get from..let's say harder drugs or nicotine or even sometimes caffeine.
Yes weed is known as a gateway drug, but it isn't the cause of hard drug usage. People experiment with harder drugs a few times in their life but your health isn't significantly harmfully impacted when those drugs are only experimented with once in a blue moon. When people start ABUSING those drugs, that's when it becomes a serious problem.
Moderation is key. Abuse anything from food to drugs and it will consume your life. Don't talk about weed's effects if you haven't done it. Period.

Because it isn't any worse for you than drinking alcohol. It can be used to help cancer patients or people suffering from Alzheimer's, Glaucoma, HIV/AIDS, etc.
Edit: Not you being sarcastic and me thinking you were serious.

If you just don't like the smell of weed, then just say that.
There's nothing wrong with that and people should respect your space if you don't like the smell
But All this "WEED is DANGEROUS! D.A.R.E. TAUGHT ME!" mess is juyst oo much.

Because media and movies have only showcased weed as a drug that will kill people or lower their IQ but showcased alcohol as a having a fun party time drug beverage.

Girl, did I specifically say you do this? No?
I'm saying, I know quite a few people that all they do is smoke 24/7, literally, and if they don't they'll have a ****** day. If that isn't an addiction, then please tell me what is.
Also, alcohol is a depressant, so anyone who drinks to make themselves happy, isn't really that smart.

Just because there are no side affect doesn't mean it's not an addiction. Do people crave or get body aches when they're not on the internet? No, but they're addicted.

They can smoke all the weed they want, I don't care what they do. Just don't deny that it's addictive, in some ways, just not as in withdrawals and side affects wise.
Like I said, you can smoke, I don't care, just don't act like because you do, that weed is the holy grail and there aren't negative effects.

Exactly, but most people don't try those hard drugs without smoking weed first

Moderation is key, you don't need to do weed to know about it...

As an ex weed smoker of four years, there is research that it can be dangerous to a teenagers developing brain. l only believe in it as l experienced my own drug induced metal episode by smoking my brain into oblivion. l quit after since it brought on a mental illness, its all sorted now & haven't touched the stuff since.
but Im not one to condemn smokers as l used to do it. it is afterall your own choice. but just like alcohol & cigarettes there are risks involved. Weed affects everyone differently, l have loads of friends who do it socially then others who need it on the daily to just get by. it can be addictive depending how susceptible your brain is to certain drugs & their affects, in this case weed.
