Robyn has revealed that she has started work on her next album.
The singer confirmed that she is back in the studio following an extensive world tour. In an interview with Pitchfork, she said: "I'm supposed to go home and be in the studio. I can't write on tour - I can record and tour at the same time, but I can't write and tour.
"There's some inspiring music out there that I'm listening to and I'm going back to a few things that I used to listen to. House music that's softer, like Balearic House."
She continued: "I'm listening to old house right now. Maybe there's something in there that will have an effect on the next album, but I don't know as I really haven't started writing. "
Asked about the inspiration behind her famous dance moves, she explained: "I like Rosie Perez in the beginning of the movie Do The Right Thing and I think that part where she does boxing moves... that kind of energy inspired all the choreography for this album."
I kind of lost faith in hip-hop a couple years ago and I'm starting to like, maybe, have people convince me again because of A$AP Rocky and all these people that are coming out now, they have this new energy, you know."
every fan of hers better go now and buy Long Live A$AP which came out yesterday
