ARTPOP may or may not continue to form my taste.
most of the molding comes from like early to mid 2000s, i was more into the punk meets mainstream rock aspect of that decade (Nickelback and Evanescence), and of course i included the albums that began my sort of dance pop phase (TFM, Animal and Warrior to a certain extent) into a more smooth alternative phase (BTW, Gotye and Drake) which has also made me like the sound similar to B.o.B's album and Rihanna's TTT sound.
but i think i know my general overall taste in actual quality music, it's sort of rock meets dance in alternative meeting them halfway. honestly i think Gotye is the most quality artist of my favorites, only cause he sort of blend my two favorite genres perfectly, pop and rock and adds his own originality to them, that's what sounds most appealing to me.
