Hmm it was strange when she said that she thought it would be 'too neat' if she put Neville and Luna together yet her coupling and futures of the Harry, Hermoine, Ron and Ginny were 'too neat' themselves and highly sugar coated. I also don't think that she needed to go into so much detail about their futures anyway or so corny and general in the epilogue she chose. I think that for an epilogue she could have just a few years into the future maximum and said how they were doing or their plans etc, just to close it off nicely but with nothing definite so that the reader could imagine the ending they liked best. But that said, it was probably a very difficult decision, and closing off a hugely successful and action packed series like that was always going to be difficult and hard to satisfy. I don't like the epilogue at all, but kudos/respect to her for the rest of the story.
