Stupid. Now, let's look at the bright side:
-THE MOMENTUM. Scream & Shout is her biggest hit WW in the last 5 yrs. That's amazing for to capitalize on this and start a brand new era and gain predominance in the UK and Germany and France, where she really needs it.
- This isn't FF. This album wasn't one that was scrapped last minute like FF was in an effort for Jive to get some coins.
- The residency will perform better than a WW tour. Y'all should be damn happy she's allowing for demand to grow for her next WW show because this isn't permanent. It's only 2 yrs. With this, her next tour can really do well and do way better than the FFT. As a fan, I'd hate to see her tour sales plummet because she's touring WW so soon after her last show.
- Sales were never going to be amazing. Do you guys really expect above 400K for the next album opening week EVEN in Q4? This isn't 2008. We'd be lucky with 250K-300K. That's one hell of a solid debut in this market.
- We can say May. That's a pretty good time. If it was in March, the single would of been released right around now and announcements would of been made. May is a good release time. Sure, it's a bit earlier than expected but hardly anything to fuss over.
- We got Danja and Hit-Boy. Bloodshy & Avant are a possibility too and Luke and Max can handle the smashes.

Who says we were expecting 400K but everyone knows that sales are MUCH better in the 4th quarter then they are in any other time period.

And no, there's not much difference between a March or May release at all, both times are terrible for an artist who barely promotes. But yes, I have accepted that we could be looking at our very own Lotus in a few months and will just have to deal.

dont say that..we dont even know if the album comes this year.. because she is working in new music doesnt mean she s gonna release it this year

Trust me, some fans expected 400K+. Anyways, 2 months can make the difference.
Femme Fatale stopped charting 5 months into it's release (August). If this album happens to suffer the same fate and lasts about the same time on the charts (5-6 mos.) that could mean that during it's charting period, it will extend onto Quarter 4 and possibly Black Friday, thus, leading to increased sales. Something FF didn't have.

And c'mon, Lady Gaga released her album in May and that didn't stop it from doing well. It's all about hype! And I think we can sure as hell hype **** up. Plus, Britney will have the momentum from S&S and X-Factor still fresh in May, by Q4, it'll all be gone.

Nothing can flop as hard as Lotus.

Let's not even fathom it.

I just hope to sell 1 million in the US.

If she goes Platinum (sales), I'm good.

Or at least like 900K-950K. Something around those lines.
