The fact of the matter is, even for the people trying to play oblivious, you know 'Fame'. You've heard it. You know that song. You know 'Under Pressure'. Those are 2 songs that if you heard right now you would know you heard them before. This is david bowie's music, so in turn, yes people know david bowie's music. They might not know that its by him because they're not paying attention, but they know his music. Its too iconic to miss.

If you don't know anything about Bowie it says more about you than him. He's an essential part of American music history and anyone with legitimate taste knows his music. I'm not surprised a bunch of ATRL members don't know his songs. This is the place where artists like Britney Spears or Rihanna are deemed "legends"
