She honestly shouldn't do this when thinking of it. Well if this goes on for 3 years at least. If it's 1-2 years, she can gain a lot of profit. However, if she is doing it for 3 years, she has a well chance to make 50m+ extra from not doing this (that is, if she does go on a world tour).

If it goes on for 3 years, she could be earning $300+ million, granted its $100 million per year. She would be the highest earning female celebrity for 4 consecutive years, and the exposure will help her album sales. Lets all just hope she focuses on her body, rehearsals, studio.
Do your research next time. She wouldn't be doing the small casino shows, she'd be headlining. Only six people have headlined "The Colosseum at Caesars" in Las Vegas: Celine Dion, Elton John, Bette Midler, Cher, Rod Stewart, and Shania Twain (Celine started in her thirties, while she was still huge, btw.) They're are pretty much legends. This is a top honor and a huge accomplishment at such a young age. Not to mention that she'd bank more than any of them did.
Exactly. Caesars Palace is iconic and legendary. The aforementioned acts did it after 20 or 30 years from the start of their career. Britney is doing it just after just 13 years in the business, making her the youngest act to ever headline The Palace at 31. That alone speaks volumes to Britney, as she amassed a legacy in a shorter amount of time than the others who have headlined. $100 million? I see why the girls are flustered.
I will be happy for her if this is true! But not for me and some fans, I've never seen Britney live, and with this gig, it will take another 2 or 3 years to see my idol? So...
I HIGHLY doubt that Caesars Palace would pay Britney $100 million a year. unless she were to perform at least 150 shows (based on Céline's 2012 average gross of $663,079, and even that is a bit of a stretch, as Britney's average ticket price would surely be lower than Céline's $162.98), they'd undoubtedly lose a ton of profits. now, if they were to pay her $100 million for a multi-year stint, that makes far more sense.
the bolded part is inaccurate. is it a quote from somewhere, or are you saying this yourself?
Céline's current Vegas contract is for 70 shows a year, but the one that she signed in 2002 was for 150 shows/year for three years. the pay was $100 million for the three years, and she extended the contract by two years for an undisclosed amount (my guess is that it was a minimum of another $100 million). in regards to her current residency, I read that she pockets all profits from the show, as she brings a significant amount of business to the hotel).
incredibly inaccurate, and it's obvious that you made that up off of the top of your head. MHWGO is the only song that she actually lips in its entirety in her current show.
Only post that makes sense. She ain't getting 100 million per year. She would need to do like 150 - 200 shows for that and even that would be pushing it since they need to make some kind of profit too.
Does anyone else think this is a bad idea? I think it would be a smarter decision for her to just go on a tour, especially with a new album coming out this year. All of the past/current headliners in Vegas have had huge adult contemporary demographics. Adults and seniors in that demographic are the people with the money to afford trips to Vegas and tickets for these types of shows. I feel like Britney's demographic is still too young for this. I think she would make a bigger profit going on a nation-wide tour, something more of her fans would be able to afford.

Exactly. Its going to be such a pain for any non-local Britney fan to rationalize spending coin going Vegas for a show that'll be less than 2 hours. I've never flown to see any of my faves cause its too damn expensive for GOOD tickets for some shows alone (Madonna).
