Well, this makes me think you have clearly not listened to the album. At all.
If you mean Die Young doesn't show growth, I'll give you that. But the album is FULL of growth.
She experimented with several genres in the album, it's overall NOT identical to Animal/Cannibal in any way.

Wonderland, Dirty Love, Supernatural, Only Wanna Dance With You, Love Into the Light and Crazy Kids. Thx

My post wasn't worded properly, apparently. I was referring to her singles and people I know saying "all her songs sound the same". And I know they don't all sound alike. With the albums I was saying I still get a similar vibe. I don't get much growth out of the album because she still had more mature sounding songs in the past. (Including songs she never kept for herself i.e. "This Love"). My point was that she's not really selling the album to the people. She needs to change up her single choices to show people that her songs don't all sound the same.

I agree that Die Young and C'mon don't show any growth. Crazy Kids & Supernatural (the speculated 3rd & 4th single) show growth in my opinion. They're still party/sex songs but they're very unlike her previous singles in sound. I apologize for my bitchy comment earlier

Ke$ha's new album is fresh and differemt then her old stuff. I can't compare her new stuff to her old stuff mostly which is nice. She has shown growth in this album and has done different things. I love it!

I think she put the wrong foot forward by releasing Die Young. It was a hit, true, but I think it gave the public a bad impression of the album's content. I mean, everyone was talking about how its beat was just recycled from Good Feeling (which it kind of was), and, well, if you rip off Flo Rida then don't be surprised if your album sells as well as his.

It led the public to believe that it was just an album full of generic dance pop, and that's just not true. There are plenty of other far better and more interesting tracks on the album. Dirty Love absolutely blew me away, and I was also really impressed with Gold Trans Am and Love into the Light.

If she had released one of those songs as the lead single, or even something like Supernatural or Wonderland, I think a lot more people would be interested in checking out the album.
