Also, admittedly, I'm very excited about the Vegas residency. She can have a stable income and a secure location to raise her children and perform. It's a perfect opportunity for her and I don't blame her for wanting to get it. Besides, most people didn't want a tour for this era since they wanted more hype for the next WW tour. This is perfect. She can still do a WW tour in a few years when she's ready and in the mean time still make steady $.

If she really does the Vegas thing, I hope it's very much like Celine's. She turned it into a concert/show, and if Britney gets the people from Cirque du Soleil involved, it will be nothing short of massive. And we all know Caesar's Palace doesn't care about lipsyncing...they let Celine

I'm a little shocked though, I would think they would want to give her a 2 week run through first, to see her pull. Those tickets aren't cheap, and Britney has a different market than Celine.

I am afraid that Britney's main audience might not be able to make it all the way down to Vegas for a show, but if Cher can get a solid tour gross when she only has one known song and few fans and still charged a lot then I think Britney can too. But she really does need to slay. She needs great outfits like Cher's and make a huge spectacle that isn't short of amazing.

But older people are here for Cher. That's who visits Vegas, the people who can actually enjoy all it has to offer. Britney has a lot of young fans, I don't want to see Caesar's Palace and Britney enter into something that is not a sure thing. It will look bad on both. But the 20-30 crowd is a big sect in the Vegas market, and they would more likely go see Britney than Celine/Cher. So maybe that is what they are after.

But like I said in previous pages, no one so far has ever flopped with a Vegas residency.

Fans don't go to concerts. The concert audience and the "stan" audience are very different. Some people that go to concerts don't even have the artist albums or singles.

the thing is that we want something spectacular .... not saying she didnt flop but that she did amazing

Also, all records are not meant to be broken but Britney IS the first to have 4 #1 album debuts as a female in the U.S. let Beyonce have 5+...Britney paved the way for other girls to follow. That's the most shady I will get during that week everything else will be congratulations.
