So, a close family member through marriage who we consider like a 2nd Grandma, wanted to sit us down and discuss it. (she told my mother years ago about it, but my mother promised not tell us until my grandma was ready) So she continued to say that she is gay and

My mom then said "If there's anything I want my kids to know is that I just care about them being happy no matter what"

So I simply chimed in "I like guys"
there was no reaction.
Everyone deadass said "oh we knew, we were just waiting for you to come out"


So they were all accepting, and nothing has changed. Now it's a weight lifted off.

That's what I don't want to happen. I think my Mom would accept it, my dad is a preacher soo..

I just wanna be able to hold my boyfriend's hand in public. I've accepted who I am, and although I say I don't care what other people think I do.

Again I assume she knows based off the way she acts when I don't hang out with him or talk to him. It's stressful. How do you just tell your Mom:
