Malta is set to play host to MTV Networks International's annual festival, Isle Of MTV. It will take place on July 26 in the Mediterranean island's capital city, Valletta.
Now in its sixth year, Isle Of MTV is a multi-date club tour climaxing with a live show. This year's event features international acts Akon (SRC/Universal), Maroon 5 (Octone/A&M) and Enrique Iglesias (Interscope) with Maltese pop star Ira Losco completing the line-up.
The island expects 20,000 fans to watch the show in the main Fosos Square while MTV will broadcast an hour-long special to 166 million homes in Europe from September 3.

It's south of Sicily, and it's quite a nice place. I'm not sure how spectacular the show will be, and the area isn't that large, but it should be worth checking out.
