Does the texture of food affect the taste?
I just had this thought in my head. (I'm random, I know).
So like if cucumbers were soft, does it affect the taste of it? Or if chips weren't crunchy? Would they be as popular as they are now?

Ugh the texture of cucumber skin rubbing against my teeth when I chew makes me cringe so hard.

Of course
I could have a delicious dish, but if the food has the texture of soggy bread I prob wont like it.

Yeah, one of the reasons I hate mushrooms. Feels like I'm chewing rubber.

I guess so, because I'll definitely not use any cucumber softie.
I prefer them hard and thick.

Yes.That's why I prefer hot ham & cheese sandwiches to cold ones.
